PreViz: Principality Stadium

A colleauge is developing a story which features the Priniciplaity Stadium and I offered some early pre-vis to aid their conversations during pre-production. This workflows uses Fspy to measure and orientate a camara in 3D space, from there building out a 3D enviroment is very simple. As demostrated below a character or subject can be placed accuratly in Cartesian space to emphasis distance in a way which a viewer can feel.

I hope to use this type of visual story telling in the future to help punctuate messages of water saftey for instance. Iā€™m often inspired by presentations seen on The Weather Channel when illustrating just how dangerous a rising flood water level can be in a way which views can empathise. I specifically remeber working in the Bristol, UK where a number of young people die each year due to complication in local rivers. I believe this is a effective way of educating people on the realities and concequences of situations like these.
